Here are some blog posts written by various people that I thought you may find interesting. Some are “old” and others are new-ish, but the content is relevant regardless of when they were written. Enjoy!

Another little somethin’ by Daniel Goleman. “We often emphasize the importance of keeping cool in a crisis. But sometimes coolness can give way to detachment and apathy.” Hot to Help: When Can Empathy Move Us to Action looks at our ability to read and respond to others’ emotions and the subsequent impact.

This site, Don’t be Shy found at www.doingitforme.com is a really interesting blog that deals with understanding shyness. There are lots of good posts and I’d recommend to take some time to browse through it. Start with this post, Why Do We Feel Shy?.

Bullies and Dickhead was written by Craig Harper. The title says it all.

While this site aims to help its visitors earn more money, this post is an amusing take on a few quotes taken from the movie Forrest Gump. On Making Money translated various “Gumpisms into advice that, if followed, will make you a much more successful moneymaker.” Intrigued? Check out The Forrest Gump Guide to Becoming a Gazillionaire

Lastly, “Stress and anxiety, no matter whether induced by external events or by your own thoughts, actually kills neurons and prevent the creation of new ones.” How’s that for an opener? It’s just one bit of information you’ll find in The Ten Habits of Highly Effective Brains.
